Azerbaijan’s official tourism portal names Bilgah, Mardakan, Pirshagi, Nardaran and Zagulba; Sea Breeze is in Nardaran. Compare the journey, current access, confirmed facilities and the latest official restrictions instead of relying on a universal best-beaches ranking.

The coast is not one address
Baku beach guides often mix settlements, stretches of coast, beach clubs and large resort areas. Bilgah, Mardakan, Pirshagi, Zagulba and Nardaran are different directions across Absheron. Dalga, Amburan and Sea Breeze refer to particular venues or larger destinations with their own access arrangements.
A more useful question than “which beach is best?” is how far you want to travel, which format you need and what is actually available on your chosen day.
Choose for the day you are planning
For a short swim, the route may matter more than the number of facilities. For a longer stay, confirm shade, food and toilets. If you want a pool, water park or evening programme, verify that service directly: a resort name does not mean every facility is open or included in one ticket.
Recent information is more useful than polished photographs and reviews from a previous season. Entry, available areas and services can change, so your check should match a particular place and date.
Where Sea Breeze fits
The official Sea Breeze contact page places the destination in Nardaran. It is a large territory with several venues and beach formats, not one beach with one entrance and one set of rules.

Visiting with children
There is no single beach that suits every family. Confirm age or height conditions, shade, toilets, food and supervision rules with the individual venue. Verify pool or water-attraction conditions separately.
A family area or children’s menu is not a statement about water safety and does not replace adult supervision.
Check again before you leave
On 22 June 2026, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Health said seawater monitoring had been conducted weekly since May and advised people to follow official notices and use permitted beaches. That notice does not prove the current condition of any individual beach today.
